Created in 1911, the association registers its history in that of the Popular Education, and asserts its will to be an additional educational partner of the Public School and the family. Through a modern and innovative pedagogy, the "Éclaireuses Éclaireurs de France" association have for ambition the development of the person in all its dimensions, by privileging the friendship, the pleasure and the adventure. Belonging to the world scouting, the association is situated in an international network of unique partnership. The educational propositions are adapted to every age bracket ("Sprites", "Wolf cubs", "Scouts" or "Elders"). The association also organizes Holidays and leads actions of opening and solidarity towards the school, the young people of discriminated districts and the handicapped persons.

From the local group to the national level, the smooth running of the Association implies the commitment of adults ( the people in charge ) and the parents. The training also contributes to the quality of the activities.
